This is what happens when the GOP looses control of the government and can’t accept that they’ve lost the battle. Instead of accepting that they lost and preparing for upcoming elections, they try to demonize the party in power by calling them socialists, and tyrants. From this interview, Ken Blackwell seems inept at analysis and does not adequately address Jon’s questions. No doubt, he would make a good interviewee for FOX News, where his views would be buttressed and his soundbites lauded as facts.
I love Boxee, and I hated that I would get choppy video playback, even though I knew my processor could handle the application. It took quite a bit of searching, but I found the answer.
[For those of you that don't know what Boxee is, its a media center application, and its the first one that I used, that's actually good. See the video below.]
So the problem with Boxee crashing and not liking my computer seemed to be pulseaudio, so here’s the super simple fix, run the following commands in the terminal.
That has been the million dollar question this week. I’ve had that question asked so many times this week, and every time I would have to open up my browser, visit the site and tell the customer that its up, only for them to tell me its not, and that I’m wrong.
It’s like I live in an alternate universe where I can access everything and other people can’t.
So I’ve created the following site, and this will help other users, besides my customers.
It runs off one of our servers and goes out and checks that the site is online by loading it, if its online it will tell you its online, if its not online, it will tell you its not online and give you the http status code.

Cheap is not the same as bad in all cases
If you’re planning to start a website then you must also be pondering the question of where you can find a reliable budget web hosting service. It may be very difficult to find anything of high quality when a low budget is your main concern. However, if you shop carefully, you can always find great deals on web hosting. After all, web hosting is one of the most competitive industries around and there are always deals to be found when providers compete on price.
Web hosting companies have mushroomed throughout the years. There are very big companies hosting thousands of websites at the same time there are small internet firms operating from a home office. So how do you find the best budget web hosting in the very competitive market that exists today?
Research is the key to finding the best web hosting deals
Research web hosting sites for awhile and you’ll notice common traits in the web hosting packages being offered by many companies. The major emphasis of their marketing is on cost and bandwidth. These two features make the whole deal seem like something magical to a webmaster looking for budget web hosting.
The rule of thumb when looking for cheap but quality web hosting is don’t believe in too good to be true offers. Following this same logic, any company may not be able to provide excellent quality service if the price of the service is virtually free. Think like a business person and use the following reminders as guide when choosing your budget web hosting:
Reputation – This is very important when looking for quality service. Offering cheap services doesn’t mean poor quality. Good companies aim to satisfy their clients no matter how inexpensive their services are.
Storage and Features – Imagine how your website operates and how much space will your files demand. This is very important when choosing the kind of package that you need for your web hosting.
Services – Budget web hosting companies may also offer extra services like domain name registration. Just be sure that your domain name will not be registered under their company since you’ll be losing the rights for the domain name in that case.
Traffic – How many people do you think will access your web site? If it’ll be really busy then you may have to opt for higher bandwidth plans.

So I was looking through my domains over at GoDaddy and noticed I have the domain name “teenluvz.com“. WTF!!!
YES LIKE THAT!!!!
I didn’t realize how I got it until I looked through through the records over at Extrovert Host. Turns out that a someone registered the domain name with a fake paypal account, we processed it, then we closed his account, and now we’re stuck with this domain.
Maybe we can use it to help that guy!
So now we need to put that domain to good use. Give me some ideas.
